Job Summary
A supplier of telecommunication software, equipment, and services is in need of a Remote Senior Global Accountant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and record monthly purchase order and other accrual journal entries for the Company’s IT, G&A and global learning cost centers
- Identify, obtain relevant support and prepare journal entries for prepaid expenses and other items
- Work closely with departmental teams to ensure accuracy of purchase orders and their related accrual process
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS Degree in Accounting
- Minimum five years of experience including public accounting and a large multi-national organization
- Experience and comfort in working with individuals across various organizational levels
- Ability to maintain IT and global learning cost allocation files, prepare and post quarterly allocation journal entries
- Ability to assist international teams with allocation matters
- Ability to analyze monthly and quarterly trends in professional services accounts by vendor and investigate significant or unusual items
