Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Remote Senior Government Auditing Manager in Durham.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on governmental accounting
  • Serve as the staff liaison
  • Monitor other activity affecting audits of state and local governments

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel on an as needed basis
  • Minimum 7-8 years of current (or recent past) public accounting or similar experience
  • Bachelor degree
  • CPA
  • Strong working knowledge of GASB GAAP, and GAAS
  • Working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance requirements
