Job Summary
A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Remote Senior Government Auditing Manager in Durham.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on governmental accounting
- Serve as the staff liaison
- Monitor other activity affecting audits of state and local governments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis
- Minimum 7-8 years of current (or recent past) public accounting or similar experience
- Bachelor degree
- CPA
- Strong working knowledge of GASB GAAP, and GAAS
- Working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance requirements
