Job Summary
A non-profit higher education organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Grants Specialist in Sacramento.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Gathering information to, write, edit, compile, and submit very high-quality grant proposals
- Identifying potential funders and grant opportunities
- Researching, understanding, and tracking current and future grant opportunities
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both
- 5+ years of related work experience in submitting successful state and federal grant proposals
- 5+ years of experience in education, human services, or related field
- Strong persuasive and technical writing skills
- High comfort level navigating online grant submission systems
- Knowledge of grant budgeting and project design
