Job Summary

An energy consulting company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Grid Interconnection Consultant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing new generator interconnection applications
  • Reviewing ISO feasibility and system impact studies
  • Performing independent power system studies

Qualifications Include:

  • 10+ years of power systems engineering experience
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with strong academic background
  • Coursework emphasis in Power Systems Analysis
  • Experience in modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation
  • Experience in using transmission planning software
  • Experience in writing technical reports and proposals
