Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Group Insurance Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing submissions for completeness, partner with sales to ensure data required to quote is provided
• Making effective case pricing and underwriting decisions while adhering to processes, guidelines and authority limits
• Clearly documenting and communicating reasons/thought processes to support case level decisions

Qualifications Include:

• A bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Minimum of 4 years of group underwriting and pricing experience
• Demonstrated risk assessment and strong platform skills
• Independent, self-motivated individual with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Knowledge of group life, long term disability and/or short term disability products and markets
• Excellent proficiency with MS Office tools and comfort learning new software tools/applications
