Job Summary
A global healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Group Life and Disability Underwriting Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing financial modeling for reserve calculation, budget calculation & other ongoing reviews
- Performing risk evaluation of Life, LTD, STD and supplemental health products on a manual and experience rated basis
- Evaluating renewals and new business request for proposals for accuracy for all size groups
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with groups of 1,000 lives or more
- 10+ years of experience in group insurance underwriting for any: Group Life, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability
- 3+ years of significant & progressive leadership or managerial experience, including Training and Development
- Proficient knowledge of products including product and contract provisions, plan designs, pricing and various funding arrangements
