Job Summary
An information technology company is in need of a Remote Senior Hadoop Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Administering and supporting Hadoop clusters on Linux
- Configuring SSL and Kerberos Security on Hadoop services
- Automating configuration and deployment of Hadoop clusters
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- 5+ years experience deploying and scaling Hadoop Infrastructure on Linux
- 5+ years managing Hadoop and its ecosystem
- 3+ years experience data cluster monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
- 1+ years programming with two of the following: bash, Perl, Python
- Self-driven, innovative, and ability to work under minimal supervision
