Job Summary

A provider of integrated technology, data and analytics solutions is seeking a Remote Senior Hadoop Developer.

Must be able to:

  • Provide design and development of projects involving Hadoop application development
  • Participate in project meetings with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts
  • Assess and develop design requirements for projects and communicates in writing or in meetings

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination
  • Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark etc
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience with building processes supporting ingestion, data transformation, and workload management
