Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Health Insurance Consulting Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Suggesting alternative options as necessary and developing final rates for benefit offerings
  • Verifying sold group information for new and existing business
  • Developing and preparing federal and state reporting documents

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field of study, or
  • 4 years of related work experience
  • 3-5 years of health insurance underwriting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare benefits and programs
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • In-depth knowledge of mathematical principles used in underwriting function
