Job Summary

A health insurance and wellness company has an open position for a Remote Senior Health Insurance Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participating in design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards
  • Collaborating with and across Agile teams
  • Troubleshooting business and production issues by gathering information

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or
  • Equivalent education or work experience
  • 8+ years of full stack software development on web and client/server solutions
  • 4+ years of experience with Java, JEE, JSP, jQuery, spring, and Spring Boot (Micro services)
  • 4+ years of experience with Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, JUnit, JavaScript,and XML
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE and Spring Framework
