Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Healthcare Compliance and Internal Audit Consultant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Researching and tracking applicable state and federal laws and agency regulations
- Formulating and driving strategies to ensure client compliance
- Participating in workgroups to stay the most up to date on regulatory requirements
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel nationwide
- Advanced knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, Official Coding Guidelines
- In-depth understanding of laws, rules and regulations related to Healthcare
- Familiarity with medical records content, format and other pertinent procedures
- Proficient and competent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail
- Intermediate to complex knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology
