Remote Senior Healthcare Information Technology Security Engineer

Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Healthcare Information Technology Security Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating and recommending security controls and tooling for on-premises and cloud infrastructure
• Developing innovative approaches and solving complex problems
• Participating in security incident response processes on a per-occurrence basis

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, related field
• 4+ years of information security experience
• Possess at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or other relevant security certifications
• Experience with federal cyber security standards
• Experience with certification and accreditation process (DIACAP, NIST RMF)
• Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86
