Job Summary
An administrative services company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Healthcare Provider Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Develop a working knowledge of Medicare reimbursement principles and the Medicare Cost Report
- Conduct Medicare and other financial analyses and limited and full desk reviews
- Conduct in-house and on-site audits to ensure proper reimbursement for health care providers
Qualifications Include:
- Able to conduct onsite audits for health care providers
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent work experience
- 3 years' Medicare auditing experience
- Knowledge of accounting theory and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement principles and regulations
