Job Summary
A consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Senior Healthcare Ruby on Rails Developer in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Actively participanting in providing the development services necessary for enhancements to an existing web - based Clinician User Interface (CUI) system
- Developing using Ruby on Rails
- Hosting in the Amazon cloud environment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with the Dept. of VA, tools, processes and frameworks
- Currently has or is able to obtain Medium Level Security Clearance (MBI)
- Experience in using agile processes and industry lifecycle best practices
- Design and develop software for Web applications, Application Program Interfaces (APIs) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
