Job Summary
A technology company is seeking a Remote Senior IMS Systems Programmer in Downers Grove.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Configuring and managing IMS in a parallel sysplex environment
- Troubleshooting and solving of IMS System and database issues
- Conducting vendor consultations for problems and questions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentations)
- Must be able to multi-task and work under short deadlines and in high pressure situations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- 10+ years of professional experience in IMS for administration and systems programming support
- Strong JCL skills
