Job Summary
A financial services and insurance agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Info Security Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Research and analyze the latest capabilities of specific Information Security
- Create, publish, maintain, and interpret Information Security baselines for specific technologies
- Operate and maintain hardware and software of Information Security solutions and technologies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree required, or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required in lieu of a degree
- 6 or more years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or Information Technology
- 4 or more years of related experience in Firewall, Web Proxies, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS/IDS) or
- Mainframe, Windows, Linux, Apple, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) or
- Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions
- Advanced level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends
