An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Information Technology Principal Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and make critical technical contributions to the delivered products
• Establish and institutionalize organization standards, processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance to world-wide privacy and security requirements

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 8+ years of expert level coding skills in Java / Scala in an agile environment
• 5 + years of Technical Leadership experience leading Scrum teams
• Experience in building and operating highly available, fault tolerant real-time services
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Spark, Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
• Experience with high throughput, low latency, highly reliable systems at scale, delivering cloud services under SLA and running systems
• Strong experience of Web Application Servers and Web Application Architecture, exposure to Amazon API Gateway, or similar products
