Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Senior Infrastructure Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing an issue with items getting dispatched from Kafka
  • Assisting the support team in determining if a customer report indicates a bug in our system
  • Adding new code to the system to enable messaging users on a new platform

Position Requirements Include:

  • At least 5 years experience working as a software engineer
  • Easily bored running tasks by hand and the ability to automate such tasks
  • Experience operating reliable production systems at scale
  • Knowledge of Linux systems internals
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
