An asset management company has an open position for a Remote Senior Inland Marine Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Helping execute regional Inland Marine Underwriting strategy
- Creating new business producer relationships
- Underwriting new and renewal accounts to meet targets
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance Management or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Inland Marine Underwriting
- 3+ years of experience and an understanding of the regional/local Inland Marine insurance market
- Established relationships with brokers at peer group level within the local market
- Understanding of the Inland Marine products and portfolio
- Ability to assess risk inherent exposures and natural hazards relevant to Inland Marine
