Job Summary

A healthcare services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Inpatient Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing medical records for the determination of accurate assignment
• Achieving accuracy and consistency in the selection of principal and secondary diagnoses

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel, not to exceed 10%
• 3-5 years’ experience performing medical record coding in acute care setting
• High school graduate or equivalent and AHIMA or AAPC approved credential
• Knowledge of MS-DRG classification and reimbursement structures
• Understanding of appropriate level of care orders
