A software development company has an open position for a Remote Senior Insurance Software Lead Support Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing assigned development tasks to successful resolution and drive customer satisfaction
- Delivering high-quality, maintainable, extensible, scalable, secure and efficient code
- Adhering to "best-practices" for development while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
Qualifications for this position include:
- 7-10 years’ experience in software development role utilizing COBOL and/or Java technologies
- Have COBOL or MicroFocus COBOL; CICS or MicroFocus Enterprise Server; VSAM file processing
- Core Java/J2EE; Spring; Hibernate; HTML5; JSP, SOAP/REST Webservices; Tomcat Appserver; Apache Webserver
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational data structures, and MS\SQL Server
- Have MS DOS Scripting; Powershell, Windows 20xx or Windows 10 Server
- Understanding and ability to contribute to technical solutions from design to code level
