Job Summary
An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Insurance Underwriting Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring the effective risk selection of cases reviewed
- Having approval authority up to through all tables and all ages
- Evaluating up to $10,000,000
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Is viewed as a change agent by other Underwriters in the department
- Competent presenter in front of agent groups and Underwriting groups alike
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- A minimum of 8 years life or health underwriting experience
- Demonstrated skill in AWD or similar system, MS Office skills, risk assessment skills
- Strong platform skills and strong financial analytical skills
