Job Summary
A full-service mutual insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Insurance Underwriting Consultant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Interpreting industry trends and recommends process and/or product improvements
- Establishing underwriting policies & procedures that align and support our overall strategy
- Developing an underwriting review process for large cases
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong performance orientation and drive for results
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in the group benefits underwriting field
- Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies
- Experience influencing others to gain the support and commitment to drive business initiatives
- Known for ability to respectfully and confidently collaborate and easily communicate with various stakeholders
