Job Summary
A company that provides a full range of learning technologies is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Integrations Ruby on Rails Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading technical scoping and troubleshooting calls with existing customers and vendors
- Supporting the use and implementation of our platform RESTful API’s
- Actively monitoring and troubleshooting connections with third-party systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- 4 years of experience building and supporting REST APIs via Ruby on Rails
- Great OO skills, including strong design pattern and MVC knowledge
- Experience integrating applications and microservices with third-party APIs
- Experience using and interacting with applications and microservices
- Experience building and/or maintaining microservices utilizing RESTful JSON interfaces
