Job Summary
An internet news and content sharing website is seeking a Remote Senior International Growth Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Partnering cross functionally with Eng & Product leads to help define & execute international growth’s emerging market roadmap
- Becoming the expert at understanding user behavior and long-term trends in emerging markets
- Generating data-driven insights that propose next steps in the strategic roadmap including opportunity sizing new initiatives
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 6+ years of experience in quantitative analytical roles, preferably for growing at-scale consumer products outside the US
- Proficiency with relational database (e.g., SQL)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., R / Python)
- Results-oriented with a strong customer and business focus
- Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, demonstrated ability to innovate and bias toward action in fast-paced environments
