Remote Senior iOS Engineer I

Job Summary

A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Senior iOS Engineer I .

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating new technologies (e.g. SwiftUI) and methodologies with an emphasis on quality and performance
• Architecting, writing, reviewing, and testing code in a collaborative environment with other software engineers
• Supporting the operational excellence of mobile products by performing regular on-call responsibilities, such as monitoring app health metrics, reporting them to the team, and being ready and able to help with incident response

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience using common design patterns in the development of mobile applications, such as MVC and MVVM
• Minimum of building and delivering one or more apps to the Apple App Store
• High proficiency in interfacing with REST APIs from an iOS app
• Experience developing, maintaining and innovating large scale, consumer-facing mobile applications
• Knowledge of Apple’s low-level C-based libraries
• Experience building components with SwiftUI
