Job Summary
A public research university needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior ITS Enterprise Database Administration Oracle Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and cloning Production and all non-production database environments as required
- Functioning as the technical lead for the Database Administration team
- Keeping Oracle software up to date with the latest patch releases
Qualifications for this position include:
- A minimum of four years' experience with High Availability / DR
- A minimum of six years' experience with Oracle Database Administration
- Expertise with Oracle Enterprise RDBMS
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Ability to plan, schedule and manage upgrades and establish priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent
