Job Summary

A defense and space company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Java J2EE Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Performing WebSphere Portlet development with Java Server Faces, Servlet development, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, etc
  • Performing Web Services development utilizing a JBOSS infrastructure
  • Designing application interfaces and Web Applications within both a portal and web container architecture

Qualifications Include:

  • Train in DC for 6-8 weeks then can work remotely, only returning to DC monthly for team meetings or occasional on-site meetings
  • Experience in developing Rest Web Services
  • Experienced with Web Services development utilizing a JBOSS infrastructure
  • Bachelor Degree in IT related fields and 6 years of IT experience
  • Experience with designing application interfaces and Web Applications within a web container architecture
  • Experienced with Development using build and source code products, including GIT
