Job Summary

An artificial intelligence company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Java Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing and maintaining high performance Java code from day 1
  • Debugging and optimizing database queries and schemas
  • Writing resilient distributed software that integrates with 3rd parties

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with Java
  • Deep experience and understanding of AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • A deep passion for customer advocacy and support
  • Experience with modern observability patterns and platforms
  • Strong SQL / Postgres experience, including schema design and some operational experience
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment that is deploying at least several times per day
