Remote Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Java Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Using Java to develop cloud-hosted, API-first, microservices and applications
• Handling end-to-end development
• Interacting with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, MQ, etc

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java
• Experience designing distributed enterprise software
• Experience deploying and supporting production workloads
• Strong database experience
• Experience building REST services and/or microservices
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks in the Java ecosystems (Spring, Spring Boot, Vert.x etc)
