Job Summary

A manufacturer of 3D printing solutions has an open position for a Remote Senior Java Software Engineer in New York City.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the design and development of innovative solutions to both technical and business problems
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to deliver features on time and to specifications
  • Promoting the adoption of new technologies while continuously advancing and evolving our legacy codebase

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in building, scaling and operating large scale backend (Java) applications
  • Comfortable working with, and helping to modernize, a legacy framework/codebase
  • Adept in database design, query optimizations, and performance tuning
  • Prior experience integrating 3rd-party REST/SOAP APIs and interfaces
  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Spring (Core and Boot), Play
