Job Summary
A content delivery network and cloud service provider has an open position for a Remote Senior Kubernetes Product Platform Software Engineer II.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create and integrate cloud-native technologies and architectures
- Contribute towards building the roadmap for enterprise features expected from a product platform
- Develop best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
Position Requirements Include:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Be familiar using infrastructure as code tools like Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform or Ansible
- Possess understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) and knowledge of Linux based operating systems
- Be knowledgeable of the Go programming language and comfortable leveraging Python or Bash for scripting needs
- Have experience and solid understanding of containers as well as the technologies that revolve around it
- Have experience building and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using Kubernetes
