Job Summary

A financial services and insurance agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Level Cloud Security Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Research and analyze the latest capabilities of specific Information Security (e.g. Cloud services, encryption, PKI etc.) and IT technologies
• Create, publish, maintain, and interpret Information Security baselines for specific technologies
• Operate and maintain hardware and software of Information Security solutions and technologies

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required in lieu of a degree
• 6 or more years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management and/or Information Technology
• 4 or more years of related experience in Firewall, Web Proxies, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems and SIEM
• Advanced level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Programming or scripting experience (Python or PowerShell preferred)
