Job Summary
A multinational insurance and banking firm is seeking a Remote Senior Life Underwriter .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Appraising and underwriting applications for insurance to assess mortality and morbidity risk within company guidelines
- Assuring equitable treatment of policyholders and producers while meeting the company's financial objectives
- Performing other duties as required
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Proficient in working and processing in an underwriter/new business system, underwriting manuals, websites, and other productivity tools
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills; attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances of events
- Strong organizational and planning skills; able to plan, organize and effectively manage through multiple daily/weekly tasks, meet agreed upon target dates and service level agreements
