Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Life Underwriter in Galveston.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Underwriting life insurance applications promptly and accurately
- Assisting with training of other underwriters and underwriting technicians
- Reviewing applications in a timely fashion in order to meet department production goals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3 - 8 years of experience in underwriting risk selection and risk management
- LOMA courses expected
- Knowledge of risk factors, particularly medical terms and their effect on assumptions
- Heavy experience in workflow system methods
- Proficient data entry skills.
