Job Summary

A biopharmaceutical company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Linux Systems Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting incident triage and response
  • Working on establishing consistent metrics
  • Assisting with defining the objectives of system and service implementations

Qualifications for this position include:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited University
  • Working knowledge of basic Active Directory and Linux LDAP concepts
  • 10+ years hands-on experience with Linux systems in an operational context
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management systems and Amazon Web Services
  • Working knowledge of POSIX filesystems and shared distributed file systems
  • Knowledge of SAN based storage solutions
