Job Summary
A plumbing and HVAC supply company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Linux Systems Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining and optimizing our Linux and HPUX environments
- Maintaining multiple FTP and SFTP services
- Supporting and maintaining external DNS
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of Linux and HP-UX Server Administration
- Patch analysis, preparation, and implementation
- Identity management for Unix user access
- Knowledge of how to consume and maintain an Azure environment or 2+ years of experience with implementing and managing cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills leveraging all available resources
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and analyze and interpret data to yield potential solutions to business issues
