A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Improving and extending the analytic methods in our products
- Conducting hands-on data analysis and predictive analytics on large datasets
- Effectively communicating complex technical results to business partners
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s or higher in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics or related
- 4+ years developing with machine learning, deep learning and/or NLP with Machine Learning
- Strong proficiency in advanced data science tools such as Python, Spark, SQL
- Experience with wrangling large datasets with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark
- Experience applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to data
- Experience combining analytic methods with advanced data visualizations
