Job Summary
A full service IT company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Mainframe Developer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coding, testing, debugging, implementing, and documenting moderately complex programs
- Designing systems and programs to meet complex business needs
- Gathering information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Expert in mainframe technologies – COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS DB, VSAM, Expeditor
- Hands on experience on DXC Insurance admin systems – Vantage, WMA
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six or more years of programming or testing experience
- Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software
- Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
