Job Summary
A non-profit health care system has an open position for a Remote Senior Managed Care Contracts Consultant in Springfield.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading negotiations for managed care payer contracts on behalf of the organization
- Managing the relationship between Service Line leaders, Service Line staff, and Managed Care
- Conducting analyses and compiles information for review of strategic contract terms for management review and decision making to specified areas of concern
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience consistent with a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field
- Seven years of contract negotiation experience
- Demonstrated skill in problem analysis and resolution; contract management; oral and written communication
- Proven problem solving skills and complex decision-making skills
- Experience in negotiating and administering health care insurance government and commercial payer contracts
- Proven in depth understanding of Commercial, AHCCCS and CMS reimbursement methodologies
