Job Summary

A technology services company is seeking a Remote Senior Database Admintrator in Boise.

Must be able to:

• Automate operational tasks for Postgres and MySQL databases with multiple clients
• Assist with Migrations of Database stacks from colo to colo, or on premise to cloud
• Standardize, automate, and document the setup of development and production database environments

Qualifications for this position include:

• 5+ years of progressive experience with large, complex information
• 2+ years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS with a heavy emphasis on EC2, EBS, and CloudFormation
• 5+ years of experience as a Postgres or MySQL DBA
• Experience migrating Postgres or MySQL databases to the cloud without using RDS
• Experience in automation and testing via scripting/programming
