Job Summary
A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Medical Coding Quality Assurance Auditor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Executing the activities of the Enterprise Clinical Performance Quality Assurance program
- Being responsible for the onboarding and training of new COE Quality Assurance Auditors
- Performing second level quality audits on vendor coding results
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Up to 5% travel as needed
- Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA
- 7+ years’ experience ICD-9/10 coding, with strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate
- 4+ years’ experience working with CMS Risk Adjustment guidelines
- 4+ years’ in a coding auditor or team lead function
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM guidelines
