Job Summary

A healthcare and retail pharmacy company is in need of a Remote Senior Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading the clinical aspects of clinical program development and medical risk analysis
• Serving as clinical lead on initiatives to ensure accurate documentation of chronic conditions and leverage clinical information to improve health care quality and outcomes
• Collaborating with teams to integrate clinical information into algorithms that identify members for care management and making actionable clinical information available to provider partners

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 3 or more years experience in clinical practice
• 3 or more years administrative experience in the health care industry or managed care
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certification in a recognized specialty including post-graduate direct patient care experience
• Poseesssion of active and current state medical license without encumbrances
• Ability to develop educational materials and educate providers on how to accurately and thoroughly document chronic conditions
