Job Summary

A communications company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Medical Editor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Substantively editing complex medical and scientific documents
• Performing lead editor role for product account(s)
• Copyediting materials to ensure consistency and conformance with established grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Bachelor's degree (minimum), preferably in English, communications, journalism, or health sciences field
• 5 years of professional medical/science editing experience, including fact-checking
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong medical editing skills, including substantive editing, fact-checking, researching, and referencing skills
• Proficiency with standard software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat
• Strong skills in time management, prioritizing, organizing, researching, and problem-solving
