A medical communications company is in need of a Remote Senior Medical Editor or Medical Editor in Cary.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Copyediting materials to ensure consistency and conformance with established rules
- Proofreading layout materials to ensure that they match approved copy
- Substantively editing complex medical and scientific documents
Position Requirements Include:
- Strong medical editing skills
- Editing, fact-checking, researching, and referencing skills, and knowledge of AMA Manual of Style
- Thorough understanding of grammar rules
- Comprehension of medical, pharmaceutical, and scientific terminology
- Proficiency with standard software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat
