A provider of SaaS-based critical communications has an open position for a Remote Senior Microsoft SQL Database Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Keeping people safe and businesses running
  • Embracing Database Reliability Engineering principles
  • Enhancing infrastructure, tooling, and processes

Qualifications Include:

  • Previous experience contributing in a production Database Administration, or Database/Site Reliability
  • Dedicated commitment to technical excellence and quality customer service
  • Ability to write code in at least one programming language
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server including hardening, high availability, scalability, performance, and recovery
  • Ability to mentor others in MS SQL best practices, troubleshooting, and architecture
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and automate tasks
