Job Summary

A lease purchasing technology company is seeking a Remote Senior Monitoring DevOps Engineer in Draper.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing thought leadership to develop monitoring best practices and preferred methods
  • Ensuring thorough capacity, health, and security monitoring is present at every layer of the platform and application stack
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending architectural improvements and new technologies

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of enterprise monitoring, systems engineering, and/or devops experience
  • Thorough, working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery in the Agile context
  • DevOps skillset with emphasis on Bash, Python, PHP, and Powershell scripting
  • Experience deploying, instrumenting, and supporting TSDBs at scale with InfluxDB or Prometheus
