Job Summary

A mortgage company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Underwriting residential mortgage loans
  • Managing individual pipeline on a daily basis
  • Reviewing and analyzing borrower profiles, credit reports, title reports, income documentation and assets

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • DE Chums
  • Loan quality and risk management
  • Knowledge of Jumbo, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA guidelines
  • Proficiency with DU and LP, FHA Connection and VA Portal
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time constraints
