Job Summary

A direct lending mortgage bank needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Mortgage Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate borrower profile
• Analyze and calculate income using documentation
• Determine accuracy and completeness of files; ensure consistent processes

Position Requirements Include:

• 3 or more years of combined professional experience as an FHA DE Underwriter
• Minimum High School diploma required
• Strong working knowledge of Encompass, DU, LP, FHA Connection
• Proficiency with all MS Office applications and proficient in corresponding internet searches
• Knowledge of USDA and VA underwriting guidelines
• Professional demeanor and attire
