Job Summary

A health information technology solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Network Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting S2S network connectivity in accordance with VA architecture standards
  • Maintaining network access between VA and cloud hosted solution environments including VPNs, routers, and other related devices
  • Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues

Required Skills:

  • 5 years relevant experience, 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
  • Experience with TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, load Balancers, switches, routers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, QoS, DNS, SMTP, and HTTPS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft/Linux Operating Systems and databases such as Oracle
